1 – Hombre Festive Chair
Have a holiday party coming up? Want a touch of eccentric elegance around your home? Then you definitely need to make a hombre festive chair. Take a plain white chair and 5 – 7 different colored ribbons (1/4 inch thick.) Tightly tie each strip of ribbon around the chair, leaving a knot and a few inches of extra ribbon on the back (do about 5 of each color.) 2 – Writing Throne
Next time you find a broken down stand, wardrobe or chest of drawers, you can turn it into your own personal writing throne. Simply take the insides and top off so that you are left with a tall back and sides. Add some plush seating and line the rest of the inside with a nice fabric or finish. Add shelving above your head and maybe even a few small desk drawers. Now you have your own customized writing throne.
3 – Wicker Rehab
Find an unwanted wicker chair in need of some TLC. Next time you spot one of these, snatch it up because you can easily turn it into something beautiful and all you need is a spray paint and some yarn.
