Eggs + Yogurt for Hair Loss

This is a very simple, two-ingredient recipe that will help strengthen your hair and stop hair loss in its tracks. The nutrients in the egg will help give the hair everything it needs to stay firmly attached while the milk in the yogurt provides much-needed moisture. You’ll need 1 egg and 1/2 cup of yogurt. To make this mask, simply break the egg into a bowl, add the yogurt, and mix the two ingredients until the mask is smooth. When applying this mask, you’ll want to get from scalp to the very tips of your hair, and everything in between. Let the mask sit for at least an hour, then shampoo it out. This mask can be used once a week for best results.

Eggs + Castor Oil for Hair Growth

The castor oil in this recipe acts as a purifier, ridding the scalp and all of any built up products that might be causing unknown damage and weighing your hair down. Together with the eggs, the castor oil also provides a good source of protein that will stimulate your hair for consistent growth. Combine 2 eggs and 1 tablespoon of in a bowl, whisking to combine them completely. When the mask is done, apply it all over the scalp and hair and let it rest for half an hour. After the half hour is up, wash the mask out of your hair with a good shampoo.

Eggs + Yogurt + Lemons for Oily Hair

The lemon in this recipe works as a cleanser, stripping away build up and purifying the hair follicles. In addition to that, the yogurt helps to remove any extra oil on the scalp or in the strands of your hair. The combination provides will help cleanse oily hair. To make this mask, combine 1 egg, 1/2 cup of yogurt, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a bowl, mixing well until all of the ingredients are thoroughly blended. Use a brush to work the mask into your hair and scalp, then allow it to rest for 45 minutes. A simple rinse will get this mask out in no time, but you should follow up with a good shampoo to make sure your hair is completely clean. This mask can be used a few times a week to prevent oily buildup in the hair.

Eggs + Apple Cider Vinegar + Olive Oil for Dandruff

Apple cider vinegar, like lemon and castor oil, is good for cleansing the hair, but it has additional benefits in the fact that it can balance the pH of your hair as well. After your hair is cleansed with the vinegar, the olive oil will moisturize the scalp, helping with the dryness and itching of dandruff ridden skin and the antifungal properties of the oil will prevent new dandruff from forming. Break an egg into a bowl, then add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix all of the ingredients together until well-combined. Once the mask has been made, apply the mixture only to the scalp and the roots of your hair with a brush. This mask should be left on the hair for no less than 45 minutes and ideally should be left on for an hour or more. Wash the mask out with shampoo and repeat a couple times a week to prevent dandruff from taking over.

Eggs + Mayo + Honey + Apple Cider Vinegar for Deep Conditioning

Mayonnaise is a nutrient rich substance full of healthy oils for your hair. Together with the honey (which smoothes frizz and softens hair) the mayonnaise and eggs work together as a deep conditioning agent for even the dullest, driest hair. The apple cider vinegar works to purify the scalp and allows the conditioning ingredients to work their magic. Take 1/4 cup of the mayonnaise and combine it in a bowl with 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 tablespoon of the vinegar, and an egg. Mix all of the ingredients together until they form a paste then apply the mixture to the entire scalp and the length of your hair. Leave the mask in for 45 minutes for best results and shampoo it out thoroughly. To keep hair consistently soft, take some time to re-apply the mask at least once a week.
