Leave modern conveniences behind and step back in time to see costumed docents prepare a holiday meal the way they would have in the late-19th century. The 1863 Thanksgiving celebration invites you to visit a kitchen in one of the historic homes at Old Bethpage Village Restoration, where you’ll find a beehive oven or an open fire doing the cooking and baking. Traditional fiddle music and historic stories add to the experience. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 18 and 19, and also Nov. 25-26 ADMISSION $12 ($8 ages 5-12)
