For four weekends, the East End celebrates local music, vineyards and craft breweries, kicking off with a party on Friday, Feb. 23, at the Indigo Hotel in Riverhead with music by the East End Trio and Keith Sloane. Highlights include performances by Bakithi Kumalo and Friends on Saturday, Feb. 24, Blue Oyster Cult on Friday, March 2, and the Billboard Live Band on March 10. The festival runs weekends Feb. 22-March 18 and also features tours and lodging packages. Admission: Free-$65 for concerts

Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, photographer John Cardasis currently resides in Merrick, New York. After studying architecture in Florida and New York, Cardasis’ initial draw to photography was out of a need to express his artistic calling. This combination of architectural work with his background in the travel industry has produced this study in blending city and landscape photography.
