Join acclaimed silver artist Michael Galmer as he is interviewed by his grand-daughter about his sculpture “Tears of the Holocaust,” which he donated to HMTC in 2017, and participate in a Q&A with him about his process and his approach to the Holocaust. “Tears of the Holocaust” is inspired by Galmer’s grandchildren’s queries about the meaning of the Holocaust; it depicts the rebirth, regrowth, and strengthening that follows tragedy.

HurriCon is the only benefit comics art convention in the New York area where all proceeds go right back to the church. Hurricane Sandy hit my hometown of East Rockaway hard.
