Crackers and Veggies with Go-For-the Gold Hummus

You’ll Need:
• Garbanzo Beans
• Tahini Paste
• Olive Oil
• Lemon Juice
• Salt
• Garlic Cloves
• Assorted Raw Vegetables
• Crackers
You don’t need to be a master chef to whip up this award-winning spread in minutes. Homemade hummus is a cinch if you have a food processor. Simply add one can of garbanzo beans, a little liquid from the can, one heaping spoon of tahini paste, a spoonful of olive oil and two minced garlic cloves. Blend into a smooth masterpiece and squeeze on a little lemon juice and salt to taste. This hummus tastes best if it’s refrigerated for a few hours. Serve with crackers and raw vegetables.

Red White and Blue Pastry Puffs

You’ll Need:
• Frozen pastry cups
• Brie
• Raspberry jam
• Blueberries
Store-bought puff pastry cups are the perfect vehicle to make a stunning dessert in minutes. Heat your oven to 350 degrees and spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Arrange your cups and fill them with a slice of brie and a generous dollop of raspberry jam. Pop them in the oven for 10 minutes, or until the puff pastry is browned and the brie and jam have cooked together. Top each one with a few blueberries and serve warm.

Finalist Cake Pops

You’ll Need:
• Cake mix
• Eggs
• Oil
• Water
• Store bought frosting
• White chocolate wafers
• Food coloring
• Wooden skewers
Who doesn’t love cake pops? Fortunately, they’re easy to make. Prepare your store-bought cake mix according to the instructions, bake and let cool. Crumble up the cake and mix it with the store bought frosting of your choice. Roll the cake and frosting mixture into balls and pop them in the freezer. You want them nice and solid.

Separate your cake balls into three sections and skewer them. Prepare the white chocolate in a double boiler (one pot of water on the bottom and another on the top.) Stir vigorously to keep from burning. Once the chocolate is melted, dunk one set of the cake balls in and let cool on parchment paper. Repeat the process, but add a few drops of red food coloring before you dunk the chocolate balls. Do it again, with blue food coloring. Let them cool completely and serve.

Authentic Korean Noodles

You’ll Need:
• Udon Noodles
• Sriracha
• Honey
• Soy Sauce
• Apple Cider Vinegar
• Kimchi
• Bacon
Pay homage to the South Korean Olympic hosts by whipping up a quick and easy noodle dish that features a Korean staple; kimchi. Simply cook your udon noodles according to the package and set aside. Mix up sriracha, honey, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar and pour it over the cooked noodles. Now make your bacon! Fry it up until the bacon is crispy. Then add kimchi to the pan, cooking until it’s hot. Pour the mixture, onto your noodles for a savory treat.
