Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9th and the big race is about 6:30 p.m. Be there for the 150th running of the Belmont Stakes, the third jewel of the Triple Crown. The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, with a parade, festivities and more, is Thursday through Saturday, June 7-9, and leads up to the mile-and-a-half “test of the champion” on Saturday. Other races Saturday include the Woody Stevens and Acorn stakes, the Brooklyn Invitational and the Metropolitan Handicap.
