Peace by Piece: 37th Annual Peconic Quilt Show
The Eastern Long Island Quilters Guild 2018 annual show is scheduled for June 9th & 10th at the Suffolk Community College, Riverhead, NY. The show will feature 150+ quilts. The event includes demonstrations, lectures, and vendors featuring many quilt-related items. Raffle basket proceeds will benefit Smithtown based America’s VetDogs, a group that provides service dogs to local veterans. Hours: Saturday, 9am-5pm. Sunday 10am-4pm. Admission: $10/day. Old West Yesterday & Today
The Old West Yesterday & Today, a new exhibit of black and white photographs by Philip Pignataro of Holbrook will be on exhibit at the BAFFA Art Gallery from Saturday, June 23rd through Sunday, July 1st. The exhibit highlights old Western towns and landscapes that today still inspire the imagination.
