Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9th and the big race is about 6:30 p.m.
Be there for the 150th running of the Belmont Stakes, the third jewel of the Triple Crown. The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, with a parade, festivities and more, is Thursday through Saturday, June 7-9, and leads up to the mile-and-a-half “test of the champion” on Saturday. Other races Saturday include the Woody Stevens and Acorn stakes, the Brooklyn Invitational and the Metropolitan Handicap. Festivities also include guest appearances by former jockeys, live entertainment and food trucks. Stick around after the Belmont Stakes for a concert by Third Eye Blind.
