2013 iZip Zuma ebike

Description

I am the original owner and have put a lot of miles on this ebike. It’s in good shape with a fully functioning battery and charger, the owner’s manual, and other paperwork that came with the bike. The bike is sold as is. At present, it is fully functioning.

It has 7 speeds, weighs about 57 pounds, & features a dual throttle control with PAS (pedal assist) & TAG (twist and go). PAS gives up to 50% power as you pedal and TAG operates like a throttle on a motorcycle, so no pedaling is necessary. In PAS mode the twisting throttle can be used to increase the power & speed.

In 2018, the original battery started not charging fully, so I had the 36V battery rebuilt and upgraded by EMP (E-bike Marketplace) in Las Vegas. The upgrade took the battery from 11.4Ah to 21Ah, which gives more range, power & lifespan. As it is still very powerful today, this nearly $700 battery upgrade is still paying dividends.

Bottom line, this is an older, but still powerful, rideable, “old school” ebike. If you are into mechanical projects, the motor system that propels this relatively heavy bicycle could be fitted to a lighter frame.
