LONG ISLAND ICE
CREAM TOURS
Dates are Set For Summer 2026
Long Island Ice Cream Tours (LIICT), now in its 16th
year, will again tour Long Island this summer, sampling
the sweetness of fresh, homemade ice cream. There are
again three tours scheduled; LIICT South, LIICT West
and LIICT East, covering their respective parts of Long Island.
Each tour will include five to seven locally-owned ice
cream shops. Participants provide their own transportation
throughout each tour.
Each day lasts six to
seven hours, sampling
from the best shops on
Long Island that make
their ice cream on their
premises.
The first tour of summer
2026 will be LIICT
South, to be held on
Saturday, June 6. Starting at 10:00am, and travel along the
south shore of Long Island.
LIICT West will take place on Sunday, July 19 (National Ice
Cream Day). The final tour of the summer of 2026 will be
LIICT East, to be held on Saturday, August 9. Registration
is required for all participants for each tour (adults and children).
We’ll be covering the events with pictures and video,
from regular cameras and drones, and sharing them on our
website for you to relive your day(s) of fun)
“Since 2020, we’ve welcomed nearly 100 people joining us
on each tour. We’ll be visiting exciting new shops as well as
long-time fan favorites that have established themselves for
decades on Long Island. Each delicious trek provides a fun
way to meet friends, old and new, while sampling the best
homemade ice cream across Long Island . Most participants
continue to attend year after year”, stated LIICT co-founder
Jeff Noreman, of Port Jefferson, New York.
Registration includes an official LIICT tour shirt — which
entitles participants to special discounts — and many of the
shops offer special flavors or creations for the day. All shops
on LIICT are locally-owned and create their ice cream (or
gelato) on-premises. This unique event also helps the local
economy by supporting fellow Long Island businesses and
their families. Our profits support research for brain cancer
treatment and cures (a cause near and dear to our family)
through the National Brain Tumor Society.
In past years, these sweet and fun tours have been covered

cable news, network broadcast news, and online.
