Frenzy is a blend of wines from different vineyards in
the famous Marlborough Region. It is intensely aromatic
and of course boasts the telltale fl avors of grapefruit

FESS PARKER CHARDONNAY
California. When Fess hung up his hat after playing Davy
Crockett and Daniel Boone in the 50’s and 60’s he moved from
Hollywood up to the Santa Barbara area. Here he eventually
found and purchased a 700 acre ranch and built the Fess Parker
Winery. This iconic winery is still family owned and operated
and producing award winning wines year after year. This fullbodied
fairly lush dry white sees a little bit of oak aging which
imparts a nice touch of vanilla and toasty oak to the wine. That
along with gorgeous Santa Barbara fruit makes for one heck of

France. Grown in the southwest of France, this deep, rich,
seductive beauty of a wine is made from 80 year old Carignan
vines and 20 year old Grenache vines. This classic blend makes
for a full-bodied dry red that is just jam packed with goodness.
It is, in my opinion, an incredible dollar value,

CHATEAU HYOT CASTILLON DE BORDEAUX
France. Very impressive Bordeaux that is priced right. This medium
bodied classic style Bordeaux is all about fi nesse and elegance.
Tightly wound with a good core of fruit, small tannins and just the
right amount of dashing acidity. No component outshines the other.
A touch of wood smoke to the nose with a fairly decent fi nish just
makes this dry red all the better. The wine gets better as it opens up,
so pour it into your glasses a good TEN MINUTES before you’re

FIAMME MONTEPULCIANO RISERVA
Abruzzo, Italy. As an Italian, this one has to be
a favorite on my dinner table! This is a really
dark, earthy rosso with notes of smoked plums,
blackberries and toasted spices with a hint of grilled
mushroom. Full-bodied and packed with delicate
tannins to make this a very well rounded wine. This
is a savory wine. Enjoy this one with Sunday pasta

wine spectrum, I personally don’t often gravitate to them - unless
and until something really pulls me in. In reds I am looking for
a little more body, depth and character than many everyday Pinot
Noirs can offer, but the reserve from Castle Rock is a notable step
up! The Russian River Valley in Sonoma County provides perfect
growing climate conditions for the Pinot Noir grape - cool but often
foggy (which has also been used to describe me on occasion).
This results in a heavier bodied Pinot Noir with richer and bolder
fruit and a long-lasting lush fi nish to pair pork, light red meats, or

France. What a stunning wine this is. I can’t believe
how well made it is at this price point. What makes this
wine so special is a combination of great winemaking
and great vineyards. Most all Cotes du Rhone wines
are blends, usually Grenache and Syrah. This wine
is not! This is 100% Syrah. Very rare. Especially in
the Southern Rhone where this wine is from. This is
a dense, full bodied dry red that is packed with fl avor.
