THE LONG ISLAND DAHLIA SOCIETY
The Long Island Dahlia Society hosts their annual plant and
tuber sales at the Barn at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in
Great River. The times are 9 am to 11 am on Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays during April and May. Also May
31st and June 1st at the Gazebo from 9 am to 3 pm. More

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
“Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 716 Route 25A,
Rocky Point, will e holding their annual Strawberry Festival
on Saturday, June14th, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. There will be
a huge church tag sale, gift basket raffl es, delicious food and
desserts, Bake Sale, Crafts, Local Vendors and Children’s
Activities. A fun-fi lled day for all ages.
A NIGHT AT THE RACES
Saturday, June 7th, 2025. Where: “Angel Stables” at 103
Grumman Road West, Bethpage (handicapped accessible)
Time: Doors open at 6:30, Races begin at 7:00
Cost: $20 per person which includes a box supper of chicken,
potato salad, roll, butter, dessert, iced tea and snacks.

Note: Reservations are required by June 4th.
All proceeds from this evening will be donated to local charities.

ANNOUNCING THE 2025 SUMMER SERIES OF CONCERTS,
MUSIC & THEATER
Islip Arts Council is preparing for an exciting summer fi lled
with great music and Shakespearean theater! Several FREE
events are on the horizon, including three Summer Concert
Series with many popular old and new bands, as well as other
performances. We begin with our all-time favorite Brown
Bag Concert Series at the Bay Shore Band Shell on Tuesdays.
Then, Thursdays on the Bay at the Long Island Maritime
Museum, the Summer Concert Series at the Bayard Cutting
Arboretum State Park, and Shakespeare in the Park, which
presents the hilarious performance “Much Ado About Nothing.”
These events promise a summer of fun and entertainment
for Islip residents and visitors.
