Tree Lighting Festival – Saturday, Dec. 2
Annual Tree Lighting Festival, hosted by THE LIFE Lutheran Church, begins at 3 p.m. with food and beverages, including hot homemade soups, hotdogs and hot pretzels, baked goods, cotton candy, spiced lattes and hot chocolate. Christmas Music Extravaganza begins at 4 p.m., featuring live music from singer/songwriter Rachel Kurtz, and the LIFE Day School singers. At 5:30 p.m. guests are invited to move to the adjoining courtyard and gather around THE LIFE’s 80-foot spruce with a spectacular luminous display of 8,000 lights.
