EastLine Theatre presents Our Leading Lady by Charles Busch.
Our Leading Lady is a comedy that follows the actors in the play, Our American Cousin, at Ford’s Theatre in 1865. Leading lady, Laura Keene in her quest for fame and glory uses her charm and connections to invite President Lincoln to attend the final performance, but her presidential gala at the theater is about to go more than a little awry. Come witness the hilarious chaos that ensued backstage at the Ford’s Theatre on April 14th, 1865.
