announces summer community events planned for Downtown
Farmingdale, most events are free to attend. Thank
you for voting Farmingdale Village, “Best Downtown,”
Best of Long Island, 2015-2018 and 2020-2022!
-Movies On the Green - Tuesdays @ Dusk: August 9th,
and August 16th
-Farmingdale Music On Main - Along Main Street
downtown, 5 - 9pm: Thursdays: August 4th, and August
18th (rain date August 25th)
-Runners Edge Main Street Mile Race – September
3rd, Main St (fee to race)
OUTDOOR CONCERNS IN WESTBURY
Free outdoor concert series in Westbury
Thursday Nights in the Piazza
Westbury Arts is launching its free outdoor summer
concert series, with live, in-person concerts held in the
village’s central plaza: The Piazza Ernesto Strada, 200
Post Avenue, Westbury, NY. All the concerts are held on
Thursdays from 7 to 9 pm.
Here is the line-up:
August 4 - Mala Waldron (jazz, blues)
August 11 - Soul Purpose (disco, funk, soul)
August 18 - X-Session (rock, classic rock)
August 25 - Sabori - The Salsa and Latin Jazz Band (Latin jazz, salsa)
September 1 - Nonstop to Cairo (ska, hip-hop, funk)
In case of rain, concerts will be held at the Westbury
Community/Senior Center at 360 Post Avenue in Westbury.

SUMMER ‘MOVIES BY MOONLIGHT’ IN TOWN OF
OYSTER BAY PARKS
Seating and pre-movie activities will begin at 6:00
p.m. including character meet and greets at select
movies, infl atables, free popcorn, food trucks and
games. All movies begin at sundown and are subject
to change. They will be held weather permitting. For
