BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT organization; we branched off into our own
501c(3) in 2009, when we decided to keep our
fundraising money on LI, where we have all chosen
to live for many years and where there are so
many lesser-known charities that need assistance.
We maintained the education component by connecting
with the then-newly established Zucker
School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, which
has been included in our by-laws.
