If the weather outside is frightful, head indoors for a festive, walk-through light show at the Holtsville Ecology Site. The winter wonderland fills the greenhouses and features holiday displays along with a stop for a photo op with Santa in his workshop, 5-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 8-9, and 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 249 Buckley Rd.; also Dec.15-17.
