- Brookville Multifaith Campus, and the Interfaith Institute of the Islamic Center of Long Island are pleased to offer a FREE screening of “The Sultan and the Saint”, a story of two men who bridged the gap of hatred during the crusades to forge peace in time of war. Based on the book “The Saint and the Sultan” by Paul Moses, this film will intrigue and inspire everyone from history buff to peace activist. Join the NYC Pride March this Sunday and celebrate diversity, inclusiveness, and being proud of who you are.
The first March was held in 1970 and has since become an annual civil rights demonstration. Over the years, its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to illness, violence and neglect.
The March is a celebration of our lives and our community.
