The Bell Street Artists present A Bloom With a View, a mixed media art exhibit at The BAFFA Art Gallery in Sayville. Discover local artists who use recycled materials including plastics, glass and metals to create seascapes, landscapes and sculpture.

Grab your hat and head to Northport’s LaMantia Gallery to enjoy the opening reception of “The Art of Dr. Seuss Rare Editions,” 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, and noon-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18. Call to reserve spots at the receptions. Jeff Schuffman, a representative from Dr. Seuss’ estate, will share stories and answer questions about the artist. The exhibit, which runs through Dec. 24, features a minimum of 50 pieces of rare works from three collections – “Secret Art,” “Unorthodox Taxidermy Sculpture” and “Illustrative Art.”
