CULTIVATING A TRAUMA INFORMED FAITH (ALL) COMMUNITY
WHO SHOULD ATTEND – Clergy, laity, youth and children’s ministry volunteers, service providers, youth and family advocates, health care professionals, early childhood professionals, community leaders, change agents, law enforcement, social workers, mental health professionals and practitioners.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND – Trauma is prevalent in our world and has an impact on many of the people we interact with, including our congregants, neighbors, care seekers and colleagues. Compassionate and trauma-informed care is essential to providing effective support and building vibrant sustainable communities.

Attendees will develop an understanding of the pervasive impact of trauma and toxic stress on individual health and relationships. Becoming trauma-informed creates a sustainable foundation in any work, ministry, advocacy or service setting to promote strength, meaningful engagement, and well-being.

“RESILIENCE”, documentary film screening followed by a panel discussion. This learning event is suitable for concerned community members, clergy, layity, community advocates, students, medical professionals, social workers, child/family advocates and professionals.
