Housing Rehabilitation Program
Home Repair Grants up to $10,000 available to Eligible Applicants
Loans up to $50,000 are also available at 0% Interest for portion
of home repair that exceeds $10,000

Funds are available as grants and/or loans to low income homeowners, who live within the Town of Islip (5 year residency restriction applies)
This program is for homes in need of repair. We do not do cosmetic renovations or extensions.

Type of Work:
-Roof and window replacement
-Plumbing and electrical repairs
-Heating system replacement
-Carpentry repairs
-Energy saving repairs
-Siding repairs or replacement

Eligibility Requirements:
-Town of Islip Resident
-Valid deed
-Credit worthy
-Owner occupied (at least 1 year)
